For 2018, Jeep Cherokee has realigned the trim levels to Latitude, Latitude Plus, Limited, Overland and Trailhawk. As the base trim level, Latitude includes premium standard features such as: 17-inch aluminum wheels, fog lamps and high-intensity discharge (HID) headlamps, roof rails, rear back up camera, bright daylight opening (DLO) moldings as well as body-color mirrors and door handles.

The addition of Latitude Plus adds popular features as standard: 8.4-inch Uconnect radio with color touch screen, SiriusXM Radio, Passive Entry/Keyless Go, cloth seats with leather inserts, leather steering wheel with audio controls, eight-way power driver seat with power four-way lumbar support, ambient lighting, 115-volt AC outlet at the back of console and 17-inch aluminum wheels with a unique finish. Standard power is provided by a 2.4L Tigershark MultiAir 2 four-cylinder engine. A 3.2L Pentastar V-6 engine is an available option. Torque for both engines is communicated to the ground through the automaker’s 948TE nine-speed automatic transmission.
