For 2018, Jeep Cherokee has realigned the trim levels to Latitude, Latitude Plus, Limited, Overland and Trailhawk. As the base trim level, Latitude includes premium standard features such as: 17-inch aluminum wheels, fog lamps and high-intensity discharge (HID) headlamps, roof rails, rear back up camera, bright daylight opening (DLO) moldings as well as body-color mirrors and door handles.

Standard power is provided by a 2.4L Tigershark MultiAir 2 four-cylinder engine. A 3.2L Pentastar V-6 engine is an available option.
